End of Season Party
CALLING ALL FPWSL PLAYERS – YOU ARE INVITED . . .
The 2016 Season-End Party is scheduled for 7/29/2016 from 7:30-11:30pm at Franklin’s Pub and Grill in East Falls. The $30 admission cost covers food, soft drinks and open bar. There will be the usual awards and dancing with a couple new shenanigans mixed in.
PLEASE LET YOUR TEAM REP KNOW BY 7/15/2016 IF YOU WILL BE ATTENDING.

Condolences
We are saddened to let you all know that Susan Zawislak’s mother passed away early this week. Susan has been a part of the league for many years and currently coaches Twisted Sistas as well as volunteers her time as the Secretary for the Board.
We would like to extend our condolences to Susan and her entire family. Please see below for information about services and the obituary.

Kick off the Spring 2016 Softball Season with FPWSL Skills Clinic! Several stations designed to improve infield and outfield work, and a refresher on the rules. Get ready for opening weekend by warming up with lots of your league-mates and preparing for competition! Starting promptly at 6:oopm on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016.

Condolences
FPWSL community extends our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Marianne Duer. A Longtime FPWSL player Marianne, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
“Duer,” as she was known by many of the FPWSL members, had a dry sense of humor and a quick wit. On the field she played most of her days at first base on Rank and File and later, with The Rubyfruits. She often batted clean up.
Duer was 61 and lived in Wyndmoor. She will be missed by many.
